Chronic pain sufferers are often defined by what they can’t do, while pain relief advertising tends to rely on clinical claims that feel interchangeable. We created “I Am Stronger,” a campaign built around real people sharing how they use Aleve to stay active and live more fully, told through authentic, social-first films that let participants speak in their own voice. We extended the work into OOH and print portraiture, presenting people living with pain as resilient, capable, and in control of their lives.
By grounding the brand in real lived experience, the campaign moved Aleve beyond clinical pain relief messaging and repositioned it as a brand associated with resilience, strength, and everyday capability.
